Italian couple Giulia (Giovanna Mezzogiorno) and Carlo (Stefano Accorsi) are in a happy and stable relationship. But when Giulia reveals she's pregnant, Carlo is terrified of the responsibility that a child represents. He becomes infatuated with a young woman he meets at a wedding, Francesca (Martina Stella), and pursues what he thinks will be a carefree tryst. Meanwhile, his friends and relatives deal with their own relationship issues in odd ways, including infidelity and travel plans.

Muccino is great in this complicates (but actually pretty common) stories of every day life. L'ULTIMO BACIO, is one of his best ones.
