Audience Member Loved this documentary! It was extremely informative, and showed many different views and opinions regarding marijuana use and the industry. It was comical when it needed to be, and also got serious when it needed to. It definitely touches upon a current issue in today's society. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Coming from someone in sobriety who is passionate about marijuana, this was amazing. Must watch!! All the haters need to get educated. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member The filmmakers did a fantastic job at putting this doc together. It was effective at explaining the marijuana industry both on the recreational and political level. It even had some good comedy bits thrown in there as well. It's a must see documentary about marijuana and the recent changing laws, while being both funny and informative. It offers a number of serious arguments of why cannabis should be decriminalized, to a variety of subjects including growers, transporters and artists. It also shows different uses of cannabis in medicine and cooking, and it isn't just about a bunch of stereotypes of stoners. We learn that cannabis can be used to help veterans with PTSD and lots more. It's a awesome doc that shows how great the benefits are of cannabis, and I would definitely see this doc again as well as recommend it to others! Katie Walsh Los Angeles Times It's a bit like having a conversation with a stoner: excited if a bit unfocused. Oct 19, 2017 Full Review John DeFore Hollywood Reporter A boosterish tone makes the doc feel like a sneaky infomercial or a Denver Visitors' Bureau film. But maybe anybody who thinks that just needs to lighten up and take a hit. Oct 5, 2017 Full Review Leigh Monson Substream Magazine The arguments Legend of 420 pushes are completely logical and well-reasoned, but by the end it seems less concerned with being seriously persuasive than it is with appealing to an audience that already agrees with its stance. Rated: 2.5/5 Oct 1, 2020 Full Review Edward Douglas Film Journal International A decent, highly informational doc that takes a lighter look at a subject some might take far more seriously than others. Oct 5, 2017 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film This is a film likely to become more interesting over time as the balance of power between businesses shifts further and eventually settles. Rated: 4/5 Oct 5, 2017 Full Review Roger Moore Movie Nation A jokey piece of pro-pot advocacy that goes down as easily as a THC-laced brownie. Rated: 2.5/4 Oct 2, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews
