Sue R I had a personal connection to the movie, so I was curious about it. My grandfather is a parent of the real-life story of Earl Duran. He was a member of a posse that attempted to hunt down Duran. He and another gentleman were killed by Duran when the pair attempt to ambush Duran. I f one looks at the newspaper images and reads the various accounts, I guess the movie is a fairly reliable depiction on the events. However, Duran is portrayed as a misunderstood, gentle giant.
