Kenneth Turan Los Angeles Times A small-scale gem of a movie, both dramatically aware and psychologically astute. Oct 2, 2014 Full Review Jeannette Catsoulis New York Times A gentle, melancholy drama so pale and tentative that its very colors appear washed away by grief. Sep 25, 2014 Full Review Chuck Wilson Village Voice Decades apart in age, Caille and Bouquet both exemplify artful restraint - deciphering their tiniest gesture is a deeply rewarding experience. Sep 23, 2014 Full Review Nicholas Bell IONCINEMA.com Understated and complex, The Little Bedroom is a quietly engaging drama. Rated: 3.5/5 Sep 5, 2019 Full Review David Noh Film Journal International The Little Bedroom is intelligent and sensitive and yet leaves one rather cold. Serge L A little film that looks like nothing but gnaw very well into life and death. No psychopath, no bomb, no shooting. Just plain life where the events connect very well to make a consistent narrative. Life is hard sometimes and decent people like to make it better. Sometimes we get attached, there are reasons for it. Beautiful little film full of little adventures and big hearts. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/22/15 Full Review Audience Member A little film that looks like nothing but gnaw very well into life and death. No psychopath, no bomb, no shooting.
