Madeline F I picked up this movie thinking "it's Leo Howard, so why not?" Not expecting to absolutely fall in love with it. Leo and Caity really steal every moment on screen, I absolutely fell for their little family, they had great chemistry. Katie played eldest sister energy to Leo's younger brother energy super well, they felt like real siblings. I LOVED the balance of focus between the two main characters, the women's fights were incredible, and the pacing was great for me. My only criticism would be how the ending turned out, it was a little unsatisfying with how abrupt it was, but considering my five star rating, it wasn't that big of a deal. Between the choreography, the sound design, the genuine acting, and the '90s martial arts plot, everything else deserve the five for me. The fights were so fun to watch while also feeling just grounded enough to take seriously. If you're thinking about watching this movie PLEASE do, just for Caity and leo. They did a lovely job, you will not regret it.
