Luke Y. Thompson AV Club After watching, you may well wish that Peter Pan could be re-copyrighted to be kept out of the hands of anyone inclined to make this much of a mess of it. Jun 19, 2022 Full Review Thelma Adams AARP Movies for Grownups The casting is amazing... But then De Paolis goes and casts herself as the namesake and granddaughter of Redgrave’s Wendy and, with a screenplay as awkward as her acting, no amount of fairy dust can help her rise to the level of her stellar cast. Book W Wow this film is terrible. The accents are terrible, there are plot holes big enough to fly a plane through, and the special effects are particularly bad. The only reason I gave it an entire star instead of half a star is because very occasionally there would be a glimmer, a line here, a line there, that wasn't terribly acted to in their honor I give it a single star. Livia De Paolis was particularly bad. Any time the script called for emotion so performed said emotion like a robot who had been told a close approximation of what said emotion should look like and then performed a pantomime while crawling through mud. Truly terrible. I paid $4 for the displeasure of watching this film and I regret it so much. Terrible, terrible, film. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/31/23 Full Review Marina D This may actually be one of the worst movies I've ever seen. It's unfortunate because the concept is actually really good, but the acting is absolutely horrid, especially from the main character. I would love to see this movie re-done with the same concept, but completely different director and cast. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 05/09/23 Full Review autumn s this was a good movie until the adult Wendy came on screen. It made no sense for her to be casted as the adult one, cause Wendy suddenly had an accent...and she made things kind of awkward and out of touch to the point where i could barely continue watching it. Everybody else were great actors, expect for her. And since she wasn't a good actor as the main character it just ruined the whole movie. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/07/23 Full Review Avalon S I know that the reviews were low sadly because I think that people did not understand the premise of the story. It's a beautiful story of trauma loss and then forgiveness. Women that have been through struggles in their lives with their mothers will totally understand this. It's a beautiful story of generational trauma and how you can stop generational trauma yet you can still be free and loving in the world. There was weird stuff said about pedophilia there is nothing about that. Peter Pan is a fantasy thar all girls have of loving someone for only a moment. We've all had that momentous love with someone who is not right for us in the long run. That's what that movie teaches that choices are made and that love conquers all with maternal cycles being broken. It's perfect for anyone who loves Peter Pan Neverland or has ever seen Once Upon a Time it's just a continuation of the story of the Wendy's and it was done amazingly well. Bravo! The woman and strong actresses in this movie would not have taken this part if they thought it would not make meaning to all women ❤️💖💗💕 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/01/23 Full Review Barbara A Worst movie I have ever watched. Couldn't finish it. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Deane B Horrible acting for one. if I had to use one word to describe it… choppy. The dialogue, the acting, the story. Nothing escaped it. It's a unique idea but fell short. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews
