College students Larry (James MacArthur) and Patricia (Susan Oliver) run their own radical, grassroots newspaper, which gets them kicked out of school. Dr. Jonathan Barnett (Richard Todd), their cool professor, quits his job to protest the students' expulsion. Impressed by Jonathan's gesture, the students invite him to live in their communal hangout, where he begins a steady diet of LSD and is hailed as a guru. But, when he starts to believe he really is a spiritual leader, a cult is born.

Audience Member So bad it's good! A bunch of hippies are taken advantage of by a former professor turned guru who has a screwed up view on life. The Alice in Wonderland interpretation was really cool at least! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member this was a lot of fun to watch. Love the hair and clothing styles. Makes my want to be alive in that time. the ending was unfullfilling, he shouldve just lied to the cop jeeze... and the poor stupid blonde. poor hippy kids being tricked by that sick man. wat a prick. i liked the Alice in Wonderland interpretation.
