Director Michael Showalter should stick with plausibly eventful romance rather than stitch up familiar plot strings loosely tied just to deliver awkward punchlines with most faltered derivatively, while some comedic turns managed to gain a chuckle through its typically relied main pair's performances without dozing off cringey.
