A bumbling South African thief (Tommy Ramokgopa) can't quite close the big score. After nabbing some money from a local church, he hides the goods in a nearby garden. The owner of the property, a poor widow, finds the loot and uses it to pay off debts. When the thief tries to steal the cash again, he is again foiled -- the money ends up in the possession of a local youngster, who uses it to help out his girlfriend's father. Undeterred by the good fortune of others, the criminal presses on.
