Robert E. Sherwood LIFE Mr. Ingram has directed The Magician with some of his old artistry, but with little of his old intelligence. The picture as a whole is an inexcusably sloppy piece of work. Oct 2, 2021 Full Review Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews This finely filmed and acted obscure horror film, exploiting great imagery, was loosely based on the 1908 novel by the young Somerset Maugham.
