mark b 01/25/2020 Great fun! Who thought up the idea for such a story based around some guy's look-a-like face? A fresh film noir/comedy!! I enjoy watching it again and again. See more 01/26/2011 Could have probably stood alone if it simply stuck to the basic mystery aspects as the humour is somewhat misdirected. Unsure why the PI needs to be a Bogart-clone other than to bring countless film references into play, but I guess it's harmless fun. See more 09/06/2010 I know it's hard to believe, but this actor actually does look exactly like Humphrey Bogart! That's the main reason to see this movie, of course, but it's also a very funny mystery movie too. Towards the end it gets less funny, but in the end it's entertaining anyway. See more 08/02/2010 At first the movie is really funny, as it goes along the laughs are more sporadic, but the mystery is pretty interesting to try to figure out. I couldn't believe how much the main character played by Robert Sacchi looked like Humphrey Bogart, it was amazing. Robert Sacchi is Bogart's spit, but that's not enough to maintain interest. Steve Martin's Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid is better.
