I love this movie. It is underrated. I was immersed. I understood both their feelings at the end of the movie whilst both were walking away in different directions. The "I can't breathe moment". When people go through tramautic incidents like this - only the two of them knows how it feels to feel safe. Ben made her feel safe and Ben was drawn to want to make her feel safe, all he wanted to do was look for her and make sure she's okay. I felt that at the end of it. Noone can love you more than the person who will not give up on you (almost losing you twice or thrice) when he could have saved himself.

The premise of this film is fine, albeit unoriginal. It had the potential to be a great love story, an edge-of-the-seat romance of two people whose love rose from the fires of tragedy. But despite the considerable run-time and the unlikely context, the characters were not relatable and their blossoming love even less so. As for the ending, I laughed. A real shame as I generally like both actors. I think it was more the writing, and perhaps directing, which let it down.

This movie is awful. This is the one time in a movie where I do not like Kate Winslet. I found her character to be so annoying that I would have left her in the mountains. I can't even say that this one had potential. They should have just made this an all out romance instead of whatever other story they were trying to tell. I don't know if the middle or the ending was the worst or just equally bad.
