Hugo S Samuel is a paraplegic boy raised by his austere and secretive family. Secluded in a sumptuous mansion, the boy suffers from being forced into oppressive education. The arrival of a new maiden challenges the boy's perception of the outside world, a reality he was always kept away from. As the relationship between the boy and the maiden grows stronger, the matriarch is forced to take drastic measures in order to keep control of her son. Visually stunning, "The Nest" is a slow-burn gothic tale focused on a family drama. The final act unveils an unpredictable twist and a satisfying conclusion.
