Audience Member It's cute, and the ending with the true meaning of Christmas and mice and men living together is a nice message to the story. Unfortunately the screechie bird is hard on the ears and the Santa rap seemed out of place. My question's are: why did mom mouse grab her nightgown and cap from the kitchen table but not food? Why is the human children's bedroom set up like a girls room despite both children sleeping there? And why did mom and dad mouse go to sleep without even trying to find food and then get upset when they realize their hungry kids went looking themselves? And how do you explain to your child where the unexplained owners of the fully furnished, wreath on the front door mouse home went?? The plot holes leave you with more questions than answers. As I said, it's cute, but it needed more thought. I am still not understanding how kids or even adults can believe that the human house hold a Christmas tree big enough to house a bear. Not a memorable Christmas film or any type of film for that matter.
