Everything about this shoddily made Western reeks of amateurish filmmaking. It's also a terrible depiction of a half-Black/half-Native American gang on a racist rampage against white people, with horribly acted scenes pretending to be historically true.

Tim Abell carries this well directed western as Deputy US Marshal Heck Thomas, delivering his best performance yet as a kick mass, no nonsense lawman. Newcomer Charlie Townsend sells it soundly as outlaw Rufus Buck and it was good to get a cameo from Robert Carradine(The Long Riders). Production value was excellent and director Paul G. Volk told an interesting story based on true events, with style and inventiveness. A great adventure, with solid good guys, and despicable bad guys. Well worth a look!
