Alas, The Nun is more chaotic than most of the many, many films set in The Conjuring universe. To compare it to a ghost train would be to understate the narrative cohesion that habitually governs those seaside entertainments.

Another movie from the "conjuring " universe. It's becoming a habit! There's nun so scary as a scary nun. This one's pretty monstrous. Jump scares aplenty. But it does have some nice set dressing, and impressive effects which raise it above the usual fodder.

The Nun delivers with excellent cinematography and impressive makeup effects that create a genuinely eerie atmosphere. However, the characters are underdeveloped and the story leans heavily on cliché jump scares rather than building real suspense
