The ghost follows no good logic. They're meant to prey on your fear but instead they are able to perform physical feats? And the plotline that led the girl to her faith is so thin and forced. The ending is cheesy.

This movie is one of the best movies that I have ever seen. The backstory of how Valek come to light is clearly explained in this movie. This movie set the backstory for the conjuring universe. The jump scare was scary enough! I even distract myself in some scene to avoid the scary environment that Father Burke and Sister Irene experienced! The accurate religious symbols (Latin words, prayer, traditions) really makes the movie feel like it's real history of the Catholic Church.
