By no means an exceptional movie nor a movie that will stand out as unique, but it's a cool haunted castle flick with a scary demon, good performers and a good production behind it. Just lacking panache behind the script, and can be paint by numbers. Not a bad horror movie for Halloween or a rainy night, though! If you like haunted house movies.. I'd recommend trying it atleast. Thank you.

I think it's a solid start to The Conjuring universe. Definitely seems a bit complex but overall not bad. The nun in this film is definitely creepy and fits the narrative it's supposed too. I'll say, I wish the film was longer to explain some of the gaps. With it being so short, felt like that is why this felt a bit rushed.

One of the worst in the franchise but not outright bad, The Nun is a generic and forgettable horror movie that thinks jump scares are the most important ingredient for a horror film, while wasting the incredible Gothic location and forgoing any real spooky atmosphere.
