What to Know

Critics Consensus

Hampered by an unlikable central character and source material stretched too thin to cover its brief running time, The Nut Job will provoke an allergic reaction in all but the least demanding moviegoers.

Izuocha 9 @fatherless Dec 5 The Nut Job is nothing short of a cinemtaic masterpiece. A film so excellent that it seems as if it was created by the gods themselves. This film is nutty in all the right ways and hits that perfect comedic beat that allows it to be a timeless classic. The Nut Job was more Fantastic than Reed Richards and more Super than Superman. Frankly this film should be held on a pedestal as a true achievement in human history and played in theaters everyday for decades to come. The characters in this film while not as perfectly written as the characters in Kronk's New Groove, still remain as brilliantly written and full of characterization that allows viewers of all ages to truly understand and connect with them. Take it from this humble critic, The Nut Job is a 100/10 cinematic experience. This movie is actually something I would rather watch over the infamous Emoji Movie. The animation was really bad, and the same with the characters. I didn't really care about what happened in this movie. Overall, 4/10. See more Read all reviews
