Andy and her team of immortal warriors are back, with a renewed sense of purpose in their mission to protect the world. With Booker still in exile after his betrayal, and Quynh out for revenge after escaping her underwater prison, Andy grapples with her newfound mortality as a mysterious threat emerges that could jeopardize everything she’s worked towards for thousands of years. It really pains me that this film isn’t nearly as good as the first one. I’m a big champion for the first film, but the magic seems to have been lost here, either with the change in director, the film’s long time on the shelf, or something else.

It feels like a film interrupted. However, I’m leaning positive for now, believing that the world building here can benefit a third installment. However, the third film could be far more Jurassic World: Dominion, and less The return Of The king.

5 years too late which is a shame because I like the first film. the acting is solid throughout and the action is fun but the characters and the storytelling takes a nosedive with a set up for a sequel that I don’t think is gonna happen

1 hour 30 mins of nothing meaningful happening. It feels like this film only exists as setup for the 3rd film. No depth provided to the lore or immortal condition , no big face off between the expected antagonist and the woman she was mad at , main villain just felt forced into the story , no expansion on her backstory to make you care about her. For anyone who has watched the first film. Just stop there and dont waste your time with this slop

Honestly lost interest. Finished it because I hate starting something and not finishing. Did pick up phone a few times to pass the time. Terrible ending it was nothing like the first one! I don’t understand the need to end a movie like that. It felt more like it could have been better as a show rather than a movie. Final fight scene was so lazy, boring and weak.

Nothing that we loved about the first made it into this movie… bad cinematography, bad editing, bad (so slow) fight choreography, all the relationship dynamics that were so rich and powerful were gone. There was absolutely no evidence (in their understanding, composure, fighting style, language) that anyone was more than 50 years old. Bad. Don’t make a third, just re-do this one.
