Andy and her team of immortal warriors are back, with a renewed sense of purpose in their mission to protect the world. The cliffhanger kills it for me. Another 20 mins and they could've ended the movie. Instead, it's half a story; half a plot. If they re-edit and finish it, I'll rewatch it.

I thought it was fun, and who didn’t want to see Charlize duel Uma? The only part I hated was the extreme cliffhanger ending, on par with The Empire Strikes Back, except that no one doubted there would be a conclusion to Star Wars and that seems very doubtful with The Old Guard.

I loved the first movie so much—the action, the stunts, everything. The second part is also great, but the story ended on a cliffhanger. What's really sad is that there's still no news on whether or when there will be a Part 3. I would really love to see another sequel, because if not, this Part 2 will feel like a waste. So please let there be another sequel of this movie...

The Old Guard 2 is yet another sequel that nobody cared nor asked for. Story is bad, the fight scenes are like watching puppets fight, the acting is some of the most lazy and worthless that I’ve seen in quite a long while and the dialogue only serves the purpose to just speed the plot along, which moves at the pace of a snails funeral, despite being a supposedly action-based film. My only prayer is that this franchise that nobody wants is not immortal much like it’s characters.

It deviates heavily from the source material, which isn't inherently a bad thing, but it adds a lot of stuff in that makes for a confusing, convoluted mess. There are plot points that don't get fully resolved or explored, added in conflict that doesn't contribute anything meaningful, and a brave (or foolish) cliff-hanger downer ending that leaves me more upset than hopeful for a sequel. Redeeming qualities: All of the actors gave great performances and the action scenes were fun to watch. Uma Thurman especially has great presence as a villain.
