Burt J What makes a killer? This film asks that question and most certainly answers it.. Society. This man who later in the film, and now forever, will be known as The Omicron Killer, gets dealt a wrong hand in life. Literally everyone in the film picks on him and treats him horribly. He's like a punching bag that everyone takes out there problems on. If I had to compare this film to any other film, it would be FALLING DOWN with Michael Douglas. Both films depict a man that is fed up with the world, and decide to take matters into there own hands. FALLING DOWN is a little more subtle in it's approach, but the message is the same. Excellent film that leaves lots of room for a sequel or two. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/01/24 Full Review Dennis N I watched this film while visiting Indonesia a few weeks ago. I was skeptical at first because I never heard of it. But I am glad I watched it because it's a really good film with a unique premise. With a wacky high-concept and a stellar ensemble cast, this movie takes the well-worn slasher trope and infuses it with a fresh, balletic twist. The film's direction by Jeff Knite is slick and stylish, ensuring that the action scenes are well-choreographed and the blood splatter looks viscously authentic. Despite its conventional setup, "The Omicron KIller" manages to keep the audience engaged with its quick pace and laugh-out-loud humor. It also has the beautiful Bai Ling in it, who is wonderful as Nurse Nancy. I highly recommend this gem of a film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/26/24 Full Review Martina P A Mind-Blowing Trip Down a Rabbit Hole. Get ready to have your mind blown by "The Omicron Killer," a thriller that's straight fire from start to finish. With a squad of badass actresses holding it down, this movie is guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat. Get ready to go deep, squad! A heart-stopping film filled with intrigue and suspense and horror. You will get lost in its twisted plot. This is a low budget film, but worth it. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/16/24 Full Review Walter H This film is for grown ups that want to watch a real movie. I say that because, this film actually has a story to tell and is not just about killing people in new and disgusting ways. With a captivating storyline and tense horror, "The Omicron Killer" offers a perfect blend of mystery and suspense. From start to finish, viewers are immersed in a dark and thought-provoking atmosphere. I watched it at the Film Noir Cinema Brooklyn Premiere with a packed audience and it was worth it. The audience loved it just as much as I did and that made the experience that much better. Great film and an even greater theatrical experience. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/15/24 Full Review Billy L Very intense film from start to finish, from the point of view of the killer. If John Wick became a serial killer, this is what he would be, lol. highly recommend to anyone who likes revenge flicks. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/12/24 Full Review Peter R What a unique, original film, in a sea of redundant films recently. This film doesn't rely on shock and gore to sell tickets (Looking at you Terrifier 2). It's a captivating blend of mystery, tension, and psychological brutality. From start to finish, audiences are treated to an atmosphere of suspense and tension, punctuated by scenes that send shivers down the spine. The intelligent screenplay and strong character development enhance the storyline, making the viewing experience unforgettable. The murders depicted in this film are not merely acts of violence; they also highlight the psychology of a killer that is hurt and shunned by society. This adds depth to the narrative, creating empathy among viewers about the cruelty of humanity and the dark side that exists within ourselves.
