Aaron Neuwirth We Live Entertainment I’m trying to make that vague, but between this film and Bring Her Back, horror cinema really seems to have a bone to pick with the idea of children being safe in movies. Rated: 6/10 Jun 20, 2025 Full Review Abbie Bernstein Assignment X It can be said that we are drawn in quickly and effectively, surprised repeatedly, and come away with a lot to contemplate. Shelly B Really enjoyed this movie. Kept me on my toes and the cast was amazing. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/25/25 Full Review Nura W The Other starts off slow, focusing on atmosphere and character as foster parents Robin and Daniel welcome the mysterious, mute Kathelia into their home. While the pacing may test your patience early on, it steadily builds unease with subtle supernatural elements and a growing sense that something is deeply wrong. Once it hits its stride, the film becomes intensely disturbing, with gory, haunting visuals that stick with you. Paul Etheredge leans into dread and emotional tension rather than cheap scares, making the payoff feel earned. If you're into slow-burn horror with a brutal edge, this one is worth watching. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/25/25 Full Review Shrader T The Other sneaks up on you. Quiet, eerie, and mean in all the right ways. It’s foster horror with a fun, funny, nasty streak, and by the time it shows its teeth, it’s too late to look away. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/24/25 Full Review Audience Member It is not your usual horror film. More psychologically thrilling than anything else. The mother’s journey is so intense and her character so creepy. Loved it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/19/25 Full Review Brian R Wow! This one kept me guessing from start to finish! Incredibly entertaining and I loved the performances from the cast. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/18/25 Full Review Bubba L 5 Stars, Angel. 5 stars!
