Karina Adelgaard Heaven of Horror If you’re a little patient with' The Other', then it will reward you with a heart-filled story that ultimately delivers on brutal horror, full of practical effects. Rated: 3/5 Aug 11, 2025 Full Review Joey Keogh Vague Visages Gross, gut-wrenching and with a gumption-filled heroine [...] Come for the disgusting nightmare creature that will inevitably crawl out of some poor character’s orifice, and stay for the sweet father-daughter bond between Daniel and Kathelia. Jul 25, 2025 Full Review Aaron Neuwirth We Live Entertainment I’m trying to make that vague, but between this film and Bring Her Back, horror cinema really seems to have a bone to pick with the idea of children being safe in movies. Rated: 6/10 Jun 20, 2025 Full Review Abbie Bernstein Assignment X It can be said that we are drawn in quickly and effectively, surprised repeatedly, and come away with a lot to contemplate. Mu5hrooms .. Slow start but a good spin on horror! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/29/25 Full Review O 2 A creeping crescendo! Definitely worth a watch. Creep factor maxxed out! Takes time to get going but its worth the wait for true horror fans. B rated, but still a solid horror movie. Very interesting! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/23/25 Full Review Kevin N Disturbing, revolting, yet magnetic look at maternal obsessions driven psychotic and the revenge of an unborn fetus consumed by its twin while inside the womb. In the center of the horrific, gory chaos of events lies a human core of vulnerability and sweetness between the hero husband and the mute foster daughter who is key to it all. A touching bond between the pair that gives the film a depth not seen in many horror films. Highly recommended. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/09/25 Full Review Michael H The movie was okay overall — the pacing and concept were interesting enough to keep me watching. However, I really didn’t like the scene where they drill into the child’s head. It felt unnecessary, disturbing, and poorly handled. That moment took me out of the film and left a bad impression. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/28/25 Full Review Isaiah R This film does not get the attention it deserves. It delivers on the promise of psychological suspense and captures your attention from start to end. Paul Etheridge brings the story full throttle in a dark and seductive way. From a classic jump scare to a few moments that had my hands over my eyes leaving just enough of a gap between the fingers to see the horror to come. This movie is an instant favorite! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/22/25 Full Review joshua b It was... interesting. Entertaining. But some things seemed off. Like how after a scene with tension, the next scene had calming music that disrupted the tone and pacing. There were multiple examples of weird pacing and tonal shifts. There were also special effects that seemed comical, combined with comic relief dialogue that undermined the film's intended effect. It was an interesting and definitely not-bad movie. With rough edges. The lead male actor was great. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/15/25 Full Review Read all reviews
