      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

Natalie Portman and Lisa Kudrow deliver fine performances in The Other Woman, but they're muted by Don Roos' clumsy direction and cluttered, melodramatic script.

Audience Member Really dreary movie carried by Natalie Portman 2.6 Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 07/07/22 Full Review kevin c Natalie Portman plays a woman struggling with a hidden grief while trying to fit into the family she joined by marriage and attempting to win over her preteen stepson. Portman is very good in this role, displaying all of the subtle nuances of her character as we take the journey along with her as we discover the reason for her sadness. Very good drama that feels genuine. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review steve d Natalie Portman is the lone bright spot but her character is not likable or interesting. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Natalie Portman and Lisa Kudrow are beyond bad here. Stiff and expressionless. The whole movie is cliche and predictable. Portman herself sums it up after seeing a movie with her mother, âwhy is everything so stupid!?â? Waste of time. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review nilufer e I really wished this was a movie about the affair from the other women's point of view. Natalie Portman's performance is top notch even though I think she looks like a teenage boy. It was mainly boring. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I really liked the acting in this movie, Natalie Portman is really natural in this role, Scott Cohen and the young Charlie Tahan were very good too, and Lisa Kudrow too, even though she didn't have a lot of scenes, I liked the story and didn't find the pace of the film to be dragging , it was a very good film overall. As that being said for this being ok, but liking Natalie Portman performance, I give "The Other Woman" a C. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
