Kammerspiel on a dissatisfied husband who dreams of a life, or trivially a sexuality, more rewarding. It does not have the scratching sarcasm of Polanski ("Carnage", 2011) nor the biting irony of one of Allen's many films on the subject. Despite being the transposition of Florian Zeller's theatrical play "L'Envers du decor", it seems not to have a plot worthy of the name: lacking in verve, gag, jokes, it's a pointless comedy.
