Tom M Joel McCrea's 'rebirth' in 50's and 60's westerns as the aging cowboy is so refreshing. He portrayed the 'nice guy' in the 30's and 40's but his acting was never convincing. Good film ... Widmark is great and Dahl is stunning. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/08/20 Full Review Audience Member Routine wester with reliable actor Joel McCrea as a the leader of a group of rebel soldiers trying to steal a gold shipment. It's not a bad film, but really doesn't offer much you haven't seen done better before. And boy, that river fording scene seemed to go on forever. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member 140830: This movie rambles along. Not very impactful but satisfying enough.
