A group of friends decide to invade the property of an elderly rich couple. However, the robbery becomes a nightmare for these inexperienced thieves as they become easy targets. Unexpectedly, the couple reveals to be two manipulative predators with dark intentions. "The Owners" is a home invasion thriller that bets all the cards in the surprise element. An entertaining story showing us that sometimes hunters become the hunted!

incredibly boring, predictable and i felt like the elderly couple whom were psychotic / killers / mentally ill / unhinged or whatever has already been done before in the 2015 movie ‘The Visit' (when a sister and brother go to see their estranged grandparents only to discover that something is very wrong with them and they become very scared by their bizzare behaviour) and i could very easily see the same trope here unfolding as soon as the movie started, lol. 😅🙄
