Synopsis
This movie is based on the true story of American actress Patricia Neal (Glenda Jackson), who suffers a series of strokes while pregnant. Under the guidance of her husband, renowned English author Roald Dahl (Dirk Bogarde), Neal begins to heal, but it seems unlikely that she will fully regain her ability to speak and walk. Remarkably, Neal makes significant progress, in part due to Dahl's prodding, and she also manages to keep her unborn daughter healthy.
