Brian Lowry CNN.com If you're intrigued by the topic at all -- and who isn't? -- this documentary might be a little too breathless, but it usefully updates the conversation through the flurry of activity over the last few years. Oct 9, 2020 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media Guided by Peter Coyote's smooth, authoritative narration and featuring tons of interviews and archival footage, this film on the existence of UFOs and their cover-up is unexpectedly convincing. Rated: 3/5 Nov 13, 2020 Full Review Brian Shaer Film Threat This isn't your average episode of Alien Encounters, but an in-depth examination of the experiences of ordinary people and the lengths to which the government will go to block the stories of these experiences from ever getting out. Rated: 8/10 Oct 19, 2020 Full Review Nick Johnston Vanyaland A surprisingly compelling watch that takes full advantage of the new and fascinating revelations about true Unidentified Flying Objects. Oct 9, 2020 Full Review Jeanne Kaplan Kaplan vs. Kaplan THE PHENOMENON lays out a solid case for the existence of this other-worldly presence. It's unnerving to say the least. Oct 9, 2020 Full Review David Kaplan Kaplan vs. Kaplan THE PHENOMENON tends to run a bit long, often repeating itself. But the movie provides ample evidence of proof that we are definitely NOT alone. Pat L I like so many have great affection for James Fox and for his drive. I have like so many of you been trying to get a hold of James for a talk because I know from writing how incredibly difficult it is. As for Jacques Plante and his piece of metal? Okay so it's talked about in the movie. It's talked about on YouTube but nobody can snap a photo of it for us to see? The mask should come off that one. The Tic Tac, autonomous maybe. It would explain the angles in directional flight. Go James go. We await "The Program" and beyond! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/21/24 Full Review Audience Member Very well made documentary. Probably the best I’ve seen on UFOs. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/20/24 Full Review Divyansh P Surreal. Eye opening. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/13/23 Full Review Jerry J "The Phenomenon" is a compelling and thought-provoking documentary that explores the history and evidence of extraterrestrial encounters. Directed by James Fox, the film presents a wide range of compelling accounts from military personnel, government officials, and ordinary citizens who have had close encounters with UFOs. What sets this documentary apart from others in the genre is its balanced approach to the topic. Rather than presenting wild conspiracy theories or relying solely on anecdotal evidence, "The Phenomenon" offers a thorough examination of declassified government documents and footage, as well as interviews with credible witnesses who share their experiences in a clear and concise manner. The documentary is well-paced and structured, weaving together historical accounts of sightings with modern-day investigations and scientific analysis. It also delves into the government's role in studying UFOs, and the secrecy surrounding their findings. One of the most compelling aspects of the film is the personal accounts of individuals who have had encounters with unidentified flying objects. These stories are often emotional and raw, and provide a human element to the documentary that is both captivating and relatable. Overall, "The Phenomenon" is a must-see documentary for anyone interested in the topic of UFOs and extraterrestrial life. It presents a wealth of information in a clear and engaging manner, leaving viewers with a deeper understanding of the phenomenon and its potential implications for humanity. Whether you are a skeptic or a believer, this film will undoubtedly leave you with plenty to think about. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/27/23 Full Review Flixster F So boring and repetitive that I couldn't tolerate it after 30 minutes (or less). Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Jeffrey P Exceptional in Every way 👍 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews
