Carla Hay Culture Mix As an action film inspired by true events, The Point Men can be flawed and often formulaic. However, the movie is appealing for the three charismatic central performances of the negotiators who sometimes clash with each other during a hostage crisis. Feb 3, 2023 Full Review John Lui The Straits Times (Singapore) A real hostage crisis has become fodder for an action movie. The consolation is the production has the budget to make it look good. Rated: 3/5 Feb 1, 2023 Full Review James Marsh South China Morning Post Action sequences are surprisingly sparse in The Point Men, which always appears more invested in its tried and tested (even tired) mismatched central partnership than in broaching any more intriguing propositions. Bonnie E Loved the action and intensity of the film, along with the humorous scenes. The cast and main actors were terrific. Hyun Bin was at his best. My only complaint was it was too short. This was a great film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
