Audience Member Blobbo viewed in Boston Theater in '70, Blobbo think. Preachy anti-drug movie. Bad bad not bad funny. Such big waste time! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Too dated. Too long. Too drawn out. The only interesting character in the film is Tutu; The Wonder Poodle! This film is just screaming to be riffed by MST3K and/or Riff Trax! The sad part is, this was one Ian Fleming's final works. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Ponderous, dull, poorly paced and nastily misogynistic with wooden acting and an unexciting plot. Could have used more Eli Wallach to liven up the atmosphere. Wallach is the best actor of the cast and he deserved that Emmy. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is good entertainment, but no classic. It contains a cast of many great actors but many of them only have a small role in it. The main stars of the film are British Actor Trevor Howard and lesser known American actor E.G. Marshall that portray two narcotics agents trailing a shipment of opium. The movie was written by famed James Bond creator Ian Fleming and was directed by James Bond veteran director Terence Young. The studded cast includes stars such as Rita Hayworth, Omar Sheriff, Stephen Boyd, and Yul Brynner. I can't say this is a classic but it makes nice entertainment. See it at least once if you can find a copy of it. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review david h Not nearly as good as I had hoped. Eddie Harrison film-authority.com ...the ads promised blazing action, but apart from a couple of late punch-ups on a train, there’s very little to cheer, but the story is interesting... Rated: 3/5 Jan 23, 2024 Full Review Phil Hall Film Threat You haven't lived until you've seen the film's train-bound finale, with a two-fisted E.G. Marshall smacking Harold Sakata while Rita Hayworth carries a yapping poodle as she wobbles around in a druggie haze. Rated: 2.5/5 Sep 14, 2007 Full Review Read all reviews
