Stephen Farber Hollywood Reporter The picture... can't be said to break any new ground in the gritty, mean-streets genre. But it has a better-than-average cast and a few clever plot twists, and it ends up being an occasionally amusing time-killer. May 8, 2013 Full Review Robert Abele Los Angeles Times A ham-fisted, timeline-altering variety pack of crime set in New Orleans. Rated: 2/5 Feb 22, 2013 Full Review Nicholas Bell IONCINEMA.com The Power of Few clearly suffers from too many cooks in the kitchen, both in production and on the page. Aug 7, 2019 Full Review J.C. Maçek III PopMatters The Power of Few still feels very "independent" and, more importantly, original. Even if its cast is filled with well-known actors, the film embraces risky, unconventional storytelling. Rated: 6/10 Apr 11, 2013 Full Review Linda Cook Quad City Times (Davenport, IA) I had never heard of screenwriter/director Leone Marucci before. But you can bet I will remember his name after seeing 'The Power of Few.' Rated: 3/4 Apr 1, 2013 Full Review Brent Simon Shared Darkness A jumbled, offbeat mash-up of conspiracy-tinged action and armchair philosophizing that is hamstrung by a strange combination of slapdash plotting and its own self-importance. Mike P The Power of Few is a convoluted mess of non-linear, interconnected plot lines, none of which are very compelling on their own and yet the whole is still less than the sum of its parts. This movie is like if a high school student tried to write something like Magnolia. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 07/14/24 Full Review George R Tragic abuse of terrific acting talent by. dreadful directing makes you understand why the apprentice editor got an opening credit. New Orleans was equally misused. The insignificant box office earnings say it all. This, in show biz terms, was a plotcher. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/11/23 Full Review wyatt y So very interesting. The plot unfolds revealing layers of activity simultaneously underway around an urban landscape. We are introduced without warning to a collection of characters ranging from endearing to damaged to bizarre, all trying to get through their day, but some have ulterior motives that indirectly affect the strangers around them. Enjoyable movie with unexpected twists and turns, and an outstanding cast to boot!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review willow j Christopher Walken's dialogue is so deranged that I just loved it! Anthony Anderson should do more films like this one. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review patty o Really cool non-linear plot here. Not typical. Loved it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review ozzy n Amazing cast!
