Alex W This was a profoundly dishonest and incompetent "documentary." I was never an Emmett fan, but when I saw this I was appalled. There was zero effort to test or seek proof of the defamatory claims made. The two former employees were sad and pathetic, and not credible. What idiot stays on a job when they aren't reimbursed for out of pocket expenses? Answer: these two. They clearly were desperate for their big Hollywood "break" and when it didn't come they quit. The black guy of course played his race card, as if a minor perceived comment were proof of racism. The focus on two reporters was also incompetent. The failure to disclose that Kaufman is friends with Kent is worse: it's dishonest. At worst, all of the allegations -- if true, simply outline one of tens if not hundreds of thousands of mean bosses. Beyond that, there is nothing here but the added claims of a vulturess ex-wife and her nutjob of a mother. At the least, they might have asked the mother how her daughter's cheating on Emmett while engaged to him was different than the remarkably weak evidence that he might have done the same.
