Mauro Borrelli's The Recall has the look of a SyFy original movie and the self-seriousness of Ridley Scott's recent Alien films. Go to Full Review

The Recall is the sort of movie you find wedged into an old VHS player purchased at a yard sale in the Kawarthas or sifted to the bottom of a mesh-wire DVD bin in a gas station somewhere on Highway 6. Go to Full Review

So deathly dull that the film has exhausted our reserves of patience and goodwill long before we reach the outlandish climax. Go to Full Review

The effects in The Recall are pretty well done, but it seems like the filmmakers blew their budget on a couple of big scenes (not to mention Snipes' salary), so for the bulk of the film, there's not much to see. Go to Full Review

Jeffrey P Sep 20 Basic low-budget alien invasion sci-fi that does some things well, and doesn’t go too crazy train, despite some of the subplots and the larger story being only briefed upon. See more Bryan S May 31 Guy to other guy caught in a bear trap: "Stay here!" Poor execution ruined what could have been a cool science fiction story. They should have deleted the whole 'teens lost in the woods' angle and focused on Wesley Snipes' character. See more D P Apr 4 There really isn't much to say about this. I'm sure it was a good payday for those who worked on it. See more Robert M Dec 31 The reason why this movie is interesting is because of the Aliens and because the humans have markings on them and they have abilities and that’s Why It’s fascinating See more Bryan B @heybryan Dec 31 Billed as alien invasion but somehow turned into survival in the woods from a grizzly Adams Wesley snipes movie this was not worth watching the 2min of commercials prime shoved in. See more Daniel N 12/04/2024 Cool idea, the aliens are creepy but the acting was terrible. This could have been a low budget classic if the casting was better. The writing also wasn't the best. Have tried to watch this a couple times now and can only get halfway through before I have to turn it off. See more Read all reviews
