A mythical lone-wolf fighter, known as the Red Ghost, roams the Russian forests sniping and killing Nazis one by one. Simultaneously, a band of Soviet soldiers behind enemy lines trudges through the snow, hopeful to find safety, warmth and vodka. Bartosz G Russians speaking in Engish is a flop in my opinion, it is more realistic if each speak their own language. It is clear it was done to make it like yet another American blockbuster. And the analogies to Tarantino, like western music, blood spraying wide and far. It could have been a much better film, it was not a pretence...
