There's terror in paradise when Jaelyn (Alicia Silverstone) and Kyle (James Tupper) arrive at a remote seaside villa in Vietnam for a romantic getaway. A torrential storm descends, reducing the villa to little more than a raft and sweeping the young couple out to sea. Suddenly, another danger appears: a school of great white sharks. The choice to make the film more about them as a couple is made all the more confusing when it reveals its climactic lunacy, presenting laughable CGI thats at odds with the type of performance Silverstone is allowing the film

Omg where do I start. THE WORST MOVIE IVE SEEN IN 2 YEARS!!!!!!!!!. HORRIBLE “ACTING” if you can even call it that. Fake/ cheap CGI sharks, water, ocean you name it was bad!! The iPhone was even outdated like a 7 or 8. That lady acting just needs to stop she was the worst female actor I’ve seen in a while like wtf please safe your money don’t go. I walked about hour into the movie I couldn’t take it anymore

People watching this expecting a JAWS- like story will be severely disappointed. Sharks are really only in the film for maybe about 10-15 minutes and even then, the CGI is so bad that you wished they weren’t in it at all. The only reason I gave it the rating I did is because i found myself thinking about what I would do if I were in that situation, it’s a scary thing to think about.

Really enjoyed this one. Just good old fashioned intense scenes. Effects were a bit low budget, but not distracting. It was good to see a movie with Alicia in it. A few good, unexpected moments thrown in there too!
