The film is a solid 15 minutes longer than it really needs to be and more annoying, The Revenant feels as though it longs to be an American riff on Shaun of the Dead.

It toys with some clever concepts and pulls off more than other low-budget entries into the subgenre accomplish, though the script and overall vibe feels amateurish and sophomoric, intentionally aiming to be abrasive and coming across as childish.

I had never heard of this movie and just stumbled upon it. I was very pleasantly surprised. It's very funny but not goofy. A lot of dark comical situations and unexpected twists and turns. Easy to watch. Fun to share. I've enjoyed watching it with many friends and family and everyone has really liked it. How this entire premise comes about I believe many people don't really "catch" with the air dropping of "cargo" over Iraq sequence.

Disgusting enough in the details to add something original to this kind of horror film. A bit like American Werewolf in London with more modern special effects. The comedy doesn't really land but does at least manage to maintain a consistent tone and energy throughout.

I happen to stumble by chance on this movie playing on cable. It brought me back to the late 70's & 80's, remembering the days when B horror movies were simply a lot of fun. When directors, despite the budget would crank out some great gems.

Delicious B vibe with crude humor and the is the blackest of comedies. I've watched this movie 5 times with new people just to watch their reactions. Highly recommended.

Very funny then gets very dark. Aside from some awful cgi bullet wounds, a brilliant movie. More violent than The Revenant. It has one thing that most movies welch on, a cool ending.
