Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter Ultra-gory horror comedy squanders its intriguing premise of crime-stopping vigilante zombies with its uneven execution. Aug 24, 2012 Full Review Marc Savlov Austin Chronicle The film is a solid 15 minutes longer than it really needs to be and more annoying, The Revenant feels as though it longs to be an American riff on Shaun of the Dead. Rated: 2/5 Aug 24, 2012 Full Review Sara Stewart New York Post About 30 minutes too long and somewhat clumsily executed, this zombie's-eye-view story still manages to evoke the comic and splattery spirit of the best '80s cult horror flicks. Rated: 2.5/4 Aug 24, 2012 Full Review Patrick Cavanaugh The Wolfman Cometh It toys with some clever concepts and pulls off more than other low-budget entries into the subgenre accomplish, though the script and overall vibe feels amateurish and sophomoric, intentionally aiming to be abrasive and coming across as childish. Rated: 3/5 Sep 20, 2023 Full Review Naila Scargill Exquisite Terror D. Kerry Prior's limited experience mostly lies in SFX, but you wouldn't know it from what is perfect comedy timing. Feb 28, 2019 Full Review Kevin Carr 7M Pictures one of the more unique approaches to such a story Rated: 3/5 Oct 6, 2012 Full Review Read all reviews

g j Disgusting enough in the details to add something original to this kind of horror film. A bit like American Werewolf in London with more modern special effects. The comedy doesn't really land but does at least manage to maintain a consistent tone and energy throughout. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/21/24 Full Review Audience Member I happen to stumble by chance on this movie playing on cable. It brought me back to the late 70's & 80's, remembering the days when B horror movies were simply a lot of fun. When directors, despite the budget would crank out some great gems. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Delicious B vibe with crude humor and the is the blackest of comedies. I've watched this movie 5 times with new people just to watch their reactions. Highly recommended. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Una de las mejores y más originales historias de vampiros - zombies de los últimos años. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Very funny then gets very dark. Aside from some awful cgi bullet wounds, a brilliant movie. More violent than The Revenant. It has one thing that most movies welch on, a cool ending. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Sick and fun horror / dark comedy about a dead soldier who has become a revenant (sort of a cross between a zombie and a vampire). It gets pretty dark, but it sure is fun. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
