Sadly this version of the movie is horrible, with lack of chemistry and the acting is B rated low grade, I could not even continue to watch it. Loved seeing Tim but this cast just could not step into the warp and fall flat.

Not to make it personal, but this director took my favorite movie and made a complete disgrace of it. I can not even believe Tim curry witnessed what these people did to his art. Laverne did good. That’s it.

The best part of this movie is Tim Curries performance as the professor. The rest of the movie feels cheap and lackluster. Everything about this movie screams low budget, poorly directed, poorly acted, and abysmally sung. One of the few remakes that even AI could do better. Don't waste your money or time.

I know this is an old show, and I watched it when it originally aired. The opening title was the highlight of the entire movie. Laverne is a great actress, but even she seemed swallowed up in this debacle. She tried to play it campy, but failed, and Adam just isn't Meatloaf in any way shape or form. Ivy Levan is a great performer and she singing the opening credits is the high point of the film. If you never watch this movie, consider yourself lucky.
