Little dialolgue, most scenes played out in silence or with music - like a silent movie. But all the better for it. A confused morality play which finally leads to the conclusion the main character states at he beginning. The French influence speaks out in the characters, mood and ambience. One of the better spaghetti westerns available. A gem. Google enough and you will find a good copy and the full soundtrack - brilliant.
