Aluna U *The Rope Curse 2* expands the story with a new Thai demon antagonist and deepens the ritual lore, though some plot elements and character motivations feel confusing or forced. Despite these flaws, the film builds strong tension with intense possession scenes and delivers a scarier experience than the original. Solid performances, especially by Vera Chen, and coherent themes make it an entertaining watch for fans of Taiwanese horror, even if the rushed ending and some unrealistic characters hold it back.
