Synopsis
Phyllis Holmes (Ella Raines), an aspiring fashion designer fed up with being judged for her homely appearance, awakens covered in bandages and in a hospital bed after a horrific auto accident. Soon she hears that the high-stakes operation that narrowly saved her life also included extensive reconstructive surgery to her face. When she finds that an anonymous donor has footed the bill, Holmes becomes determined to discover who has looked upon her with such kindness.
