laurent b Nice eery atmosphere, very well created by a great photographic work, a good music, and a mystery plot. Good actors also. The thing is that it will remind you of other movies like that, but it's a very nice movie overall. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review william k Above-average psychological thriller with a noir touch with an improbable plot works due to atmosphere and solid performances. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member 'The Second Woman' blends aspects of 'Rebecca' and 'Gaslight' into a savvy, neo-Gothic style, there's even an ultramodern, Manderley-like pile of memories high above the crashing ocean... I can still see its hanging roofs against the Cyprus trees. But Hilltop is no more. There is only a scar of jutting rock where once its windows glittered in the California sun."... An Intelligent "B" Mystery-Gothic elements enhance superior psychological thriller!! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Not a classic film noir but not a bad movie either .
