Jay Weissberg Variety Performances are generically earnest, which is the most that can be expected with such an anodyne script where broadly-drawn characters like Kessler are over-the-top in their brutish behavior. Feb 21, 2018 Full Review Wendy Ide Screen International This is a solid, good-looking piece of filmmaking which is elevated by a clutch of strong performances from the young cast. Feb 21, 2018 Full Review Uri Klein Haaretz What is the source of the romanticization and nostalgia? ...It is a longing that is especially evident in mainstream films like "The Silent Revolution," for simpler days, when it was possible to distinguish between the good guys and the bad guys. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/04/22 Full Review Audience Member I am a student and I live in a country. I am in a dilemma of immigrating for a better life or staying in a country with an undemocratic government. This movie was very painful for me because it was as if I was referring to my own life. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review nefasto r Yes ok, it is an interesting little story, but let's be honest: most of the charm comes from "Dawson Creek" meets "Dead Poets Society" kind-of-vibe, and all the dramas involved! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member An uneven but still effective historical drama that might have carried a much stronger impact had it not been for its strange choice to come up with unnecessary revelations about the characters that feel more like distraction and don't really add anything relevant to the result.
