      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

With its recycled plot, misguided gags, and formula performance from Jonah Hill, The Sitter adds up to another disappointing entry from director David Gordon Green.

Ricky C Possibly the worst movie I have ever witnessed. Even a 10/100 is too high of a score. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/24 Full Review craig g simple slap stick situational humor; not too complex but entertaining. Chuckled out loud a decent amount of times and suspensional enough to keep you focused. Was surprised at low ratings by others on here. Its 2023 and I have gone to most movies this year if this came out I would probably put in my top 5 of the 20 or so movies I have seen this year. Saying that I think movies are low budget now adays. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/20/23 Full Review Emmett R This movie is so odd and bizzare, it's so funny Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review A. D it is like the creators tried very hard to make this movie super-adventurous, but it felt boring. I also think it was wrong to expose kids to such inappropriate scenes. They are just kids, for goodness sake. Verdict: MEH. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/25/22 Full Review georgan g Not the greatest movie every made but fun if you just want to laugh. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The male version of Adventures in Babysitting from 1987. Jonah Hill in place of Elizabeth Shue. Nothing new. Although a fun watch. Sara Michelle Fetters MovieFreak.com The movie is funny right from the start, tells its story economically and never comes close to wearing out its welcome.
