Mom and I saw this in 3-D winter before last and we both found it even better than we were expecting it was going to be. A majority of fans of the first film like me will have a blast watching SpongeBob in this film and I wouldn't mind Paramount and Nickelodeon Studios making a third one. You will not be disappointed!

I watch SpongeBob to laugh. I did. Supremely silly. Banderas is great. I don't have children, so I don't know how this will play to that demographic. I loved it and would watch it again.

You either get Spongebob, or you don't. There is no in between. He and his band of underwater friends have been entertaining children and adults alike, in equal measure, for over 10 years. Sponge Out of Water is his second feature, which, like the first, is just an extremely extended episode. With all that knowledge at your disposal, you should know how you feel about this innocent, innocuous talking sponge and how you would feel about spending 90 minutes or so with him. Sponge Out of Water delivers exactly what its title promises, so it's built in audience will lap up this madcap extended play without provocation. And if you aren't down with it, well, perhaps ease your senses with a few episodes before diving into this screwball feature.
