Elisha I @asapidox Jul 3 Tries to be a quirky teen comedy, but ends up being painfully dull. The dialogue is cringey, the acting feels forced, and the plot—if you can call it that—goes absolutely nowhere. None of the characters are likable or believable, and the “competition” just drags on with little payoff. It feels more like a long, awkward YouTube skit than a real movie. Definitely a miss. Just not very enjoyable. This was clearly for very young kids. Just a disappointing film all around. Which is sad because I've actually watched other actors from other projects in this and I've enjoyed them. Overall just not a good film but once again, it was clearly made for a very young audience. Would've worked better if it was a Disney Channel Original Movie or something. The way Amy (Olivia Holt) is added into the main setting seems tacked on, and the Merrell Twins first movie proves that Youtubers and film stars should never co-mingle (except for Jablinski). The plot essentially boils down to a horror movie plot, as characters are eliminated over time. from what i could tell, the movie is paid for and written by the Volvo group.
