Norm V. Touchy freely romantic movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/13/22 Full Review Lisa W I absolutely loved it. Must see for romantics, book lovers, and people who like simple things. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/13/22 Full Review Karen K Not crazy about the ending Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/13/22 Full Review Steven There was a total of six people in the theater at the time we went to see the movie in the late afternoon. Two of the people present had also read the book. We all liked the movie. Kunal Nayyar in a serious role played the part of his character very well and demonstrated his depth as an actor in what was a real departure from his former role as Rajesh Koothrapali in the Big Bang Theory comedy series. Mr. Nayyar also had an excellent supporting cast. Looking forward to seeing Kunal Nayyar in more serious roles like A.J. Fikry in the future. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/12/22 Full Review K White The Storied Life of AJ Fikry is a rich and lovely story - with just the right amount of humor and levity mixed in - about life, love, and the importance of investing in people and things we love, and carrying on in spite of inevitable hardships. Excellently cast and acted. Very true to the book. We need more books and movies like The Storied Life of AJ Fikry in our world! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/13/22 Full Review Shiela A little quirky good story line. Varies from the book. Good acting. At times, the transitions are a little off. I would recommend seeing it. Tuesday 5 totally worth it. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/12/22 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Michael O'Sullivan Washington Post A tale with way too much story and not nearly enough life. Rated: 2/4 Oct 5, 2022 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue While it has a Hallmark-style quaintness to its setting, the film yanks too aggressively at the heartstrings in a strained attempt to be life-affirming and profound. Dec 30, 2022 Full Review Carla Hay Culture Mix The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry should have been titled The Lifeless Story of A.J. Fikry. It’s a weak, boring, and jumbled mess with confused tones and unanswered questions. Dec 3, 2022 Full Review Carey-Ann Pawsey Orca Sound It is kinda what you would expect of this type of film. Nothing special but watchable. Rated: 2.5/5 Nov 13, 2022 Full Review Sumner Forbes Film Threat For the more casual viewer that is craving a traditional tear-jerker, this more than fits the bill and is a great date-night movie for the significant other that may not appreciate Tarkovsky in the same way. Rated: 7/10 Oct 20, 2022 Full Review Frank Swietek One Guy's Opinion What was intended as a heartwarming tale of loss and love emerges as a shapeless misfire...as cluttered with characters and subplots as Fikry’s store is with piles of books.
