In 2022, Anne Desclos' take on the joys of consensual non-consent and women's empowerment inspires a full range of haters and apologists. If the film (or original novel) doesn't align with your views, it can serve to inspire conversations/argument about the complexities of human sexuality. It's "Secretary" 27 years before "Secretary".
