Brent A 10% rating ... Awful movie. I do not recommend this film to anyone. Not even sure how I came across this. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/23/23 Full Review strother p Romanticized BDSM with excellent production values and pretty good acting -- accepted at face value as "one woman's story of fulfillment", it's an edgy, enjoyable sexy time. In 2022, Anne Desclos' take on the joys of consensual non-consent and women's empowerment inspires a full range of haters and apologists. If the film (or original novel) doesn't align with your views, it can serve to inspire conversations/argument about the complexities of human sexuality. It's "Secretary" 27 years before "Secretary".
