Audience Member Director Satyajit Ray wasn't just a legendary filmmaker he was also a wonderful writer, his stories hold relevance to even this day. The Storyteller based on a short story of the legendary director looks at the power of stories and the voices which shape them. A major strength of The Storyteller is how director Ananth Madhadevan has crafted the two primary characters played wonderfully by veterans Paresh Rawal and Adil Hussain. The differences between the primary characters aren't just surface level but it is very intrinsic to the plot. The unexcepted friendship and the subsequent events leading to a betrayal has been wonderfully written and enacted.
