Dennis Harvey Variety Taken purely as a boilerplate thrill-ride, the sequel really isn’t half bad. A reliable craftsman who’s rarely dull, Harlin gets solid mileage from mostly dialogue-free setpieces. Sep 26, 2025 Full Review William Bibbiani TheWrap 'The Strangers: Chapter 2' is an improvement on 'The Strangers: Chapter 1.' Then again, a moderate case of food poisoning is an improvement on a severe one. Sep 26, 2025 Full Review Linda Marric The Sun (UK) The only thing that prevents it becoming a total farce is Harlin’s occasional use of a few inspired jump scares. Rated: 2/5 Sep 26, 2025 Full Review Renuka Vyavahare The Times of India The scares are predictable and there’s nothing here that hasn’t been done in countless horror films before. There’s no innovation, no standout moment, and no unique twist to justify its existence. Rated: 2.5/5 Sep 29, 2025 Full Review Adam Olinger Adam Does Movies (YouTube) The dumb continues with The Strangers: Chapter 2. Most of the 90 minutes is spent watching the lead protagonist hide behind things, while you fight for your life to stay awake. Nothing happens so of course the stupid movie ends with a "To be Continued". Sep 29, 2025 Full Review Joshua Mbonu InSession Film It’s an absolutely airless film that serves no useful function as an addition to the franchise or the horror genre in general. This second chapter doesn’t even feel like a movie, just 90 minutes of predictable chases and random occurrences that go nowhere Rated: F Sep 29, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Gabe Movie was terrible. Barely any fatalities and a boring plot Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/29/25 Full Review Dakota I love chapter 1 between the freshness of the new take on the movies. This was a perfect sequel and I’m not a fan of two or threes or fours but I can say they finally got it right with this new rendition of the movie itself. Good story to get lost in. Dialogue besides screaming makes it real. We finally got a story and a background to the strangers and I could never be more impressed. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/29/25 Full Review First L Very interesting movie. it did not drag at all. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/29/25 Full Review Aaron An awful film, that was clunky and it well thought out in my opinion. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/29/25 Full Review Yesenia None stop action from the start to finish. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/29/25 Full Review Alexandra The cliffhanger sucked but the actress was amazing. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/30/25 Full Review Read all reviews
