Farmer C Nov 9 Absolutely do not watch this movie if you love dogs …unless you find joy in shoving bamboo shoots under your fingernails prior to immersing them I battery acid, slowly, just for maximum impact. This treats dogs as things that can be used up, while wiping away a tear of course. As long as the people are ok in the end, and you squeeze the souls of those that love them to a macerated pulp, it is a feel good movie right? Wrong! If you have a heart protect it and choose another movie. You will thank me later. See more J C. Oct 16 True story or not I did not enjoy this movie. I don’t think it was good story telling whatsoever. I love dog movies but this did not develop the relationship between the dog and family in a meaningful way. The dad was inept and not likeable and after almost dying drives two hours and dumps the kids off without telling their families they almost died too. Just bad all the way around. See more Kat B Jul 31 Hands down this was the worst movie ever! Bad acting, bad script, unrealistic, unbelievable, bad music…wow I will never get the time used to watch this horrible movie back. The only good actor was the dog, and they killed him off. Angel Studios, you need to do better than this, otherwise I want my money back. See more Rick S Jul 28 THIS MOVIE IS HORRIBLE. I HATE MOVIES WHERE THEY KILL THE DOG. ARGH See more Hayleigh P. @haytay.shows22 Jul 21 I hate this movie. Why does the dog always have to die..? The end stabbed me in the back and then twisted it when it showed it was a true story based on a real dog and family.. then they showed real home video.. are you kidding..? See more Nancy M 03/11/2024 The writing and direction aren't as good as hoped, but the story is heartwarming and the cast does as well as it can with what it has. See more Read all reviews
