M Jun 22 🇨🇱🏳️‍🌈 Esta película chilena presenta a un arquitecto que viaja a la localidad de Niebla, en el sur de Chile, para despedirse de su hermana para hacer un posgrado, y donde conoce a un contramaestre de un barco pesquero que también actúa en representaciones de la captura del castillo de Niebla. Una historia de amor íntima y valiente, donde la química entre los protagonistas es tan auténtica que atrapa de inmediato. La película transmite una conexión emocional sincera, enmarcada en los imponentes paisajes del sur chileno que se convierten casi en un personaje más. La cinematografía, serena y evocadora, acentúa esa sensación de arraigo y nostalgia. Aunque la premisa de un "amor de verano" puede parecer familiar, la ejecución sensible y realista logra que la historia se sienta genuina y profundamente conmovedora. M See more Ricardo A 10/28/2024 A masterpiece, the feeling is visceral, the farewell broke my heart, films like this are rare, they portray reality, the disagreements and departures that are part of our lives.👏👏👏👏 See more Elrond S 07/30/2024 I'm a very harsh film critic -- for years I basically refused to watch films unless they were of a caliber of the Godfather or Lawrence of Arabia -- and while I won't go so far as to say this film is on that caliber, I found this to be masterful. The acting, direction, screenplay and cinematography were all sublime. The film had very few cliches. I was actually bawling my eyes out near the end when they're in bed together for the final time. Anyone who has ever been in that situation can relate to the visceral authenticity of the magnitude of the power of emotions which come with being in such a situation. You quite literally wish time would stop, and one second could pass for a thousand years, and the bliss would make it worth it.
