Tasha Robinson Polygon Imbert makes sure the audience feels every misstep, every crumbling foothold and loose piton, every trembling and overtaxed muscle or fraying rope. Dec 6, 2021 Full Review Kambole Campbell Empire Magazine If it falters early on, *The Summit Of The Gods* emerges an astonishing work of animation of both intimacy and incredible scale, stunningly well-crafted and smartly adapted. Rated: 4/5 Dec 6, 2021 Full Review Tim Cogshell FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) A beautifully rendered film. I like the way it moves and the pace of it. Dec 1, 2021 Full Review Nuha Hassan Nuha Hassan The Summit of the Gods is undoubtedly one of the best animated movies of the year. The visuals of the mountains are intense and the psychological manifestations of the climb ponder the beauty and danger of Everest. Only the search for the next challenge to give life meaning. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/17/23 Full Review Alejandra P Everything from the animation, soundtrack, and plot of this movie resonated with me. After watching "The Summit of the Gods," I find myself wanting to climb a mountain or visit the Himalayas. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review samuel s It's a chillingly tense film. The story isn't the greatest and its slow to start off, but its simplicity and subtlety add up to a punch at the end. The animation and artwork is, I'm not kidding, incredible every single frame. The imagery paired with the music and story makes this film more of an experience than just standard entertainment. Recommended. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review tomaž r Fantastic film and the animation is beautiful! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Wow… what a fucking movie. From beginning to end, it had me glued to my tv screen. This was one of the most beautifully animated films I've ever seen. The scenes showing the mountains were breathtaking. The soundtrack was so good and it really elevated most of the scenes. The story of Habu is so emotional and they do a great job at showing the highs and lows of his time while climbing. The mountain climbing scenes were so intense and had me at the edge of my seat the whole time. This was also helped by the great soundtrack. This is easily one of my favorite animated films I've ever seen. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews
